GE Healthcare Case Study
Developed using an integrated engineering and design process, this 230,000 sf digital x-ray manufacturing facility was the first clean manufacturing plant of its kind to be certified LEED Gold. Built and occupied in 18 months, the facility is a model of green design, accommodating leading-edge clean manufacturing processes, support utilities and resource-conscious environmental and control systems in a healthy workspace. SMRT’s on-going commissions with GE Healthcare include tool planning and hook-up for the next generation of manufacturing equipment and major renovations to the cleanroom to accommodate new process lines.
Project Highlights
