Topsham Public Safety and Municipal Complex Case Study

The need to consolidate municipal and public safety services at a central site drove the completion of this new complex which provides, for the first time, a town center for the Town of Topsham. The new campus houses a 7-bay fire station with an adjoining police station and public safety offices and a separate town hall housing all other municipal functions. With a focus on safety and sustainability, the design incorporated contemporary security systems, high-efficiency condensing boilers, variable frequency drives for large horsepower fans and pumps and no CFC-based refrigerants.
