Women’s Care Florida
Women’s Care Florida (WCF) wanted to increase collaboration between the workplace and laboratory environments, while moving towards automation in this 17,000 square-foot renovation in an equipment-intensive facility.
By migrating from a labor-intensive manual loading testing protocol to a fully-automated line with multiple chemistry stations, WCF looks to achieve higher through-put while reducing manual movement and improving ergonomics.
This open lab plan houses histology, cytology, molecular, and clinical diagnostic functions as well as a genomics based suite for Non-Invasive Pediatric Testing (NIPT).
The interior design incorporates modular demountable, pre-wired partitions for complete flexibility.
SMRT provided a full range of architecture, engineering and interior services.
