Our in-house commissioning agents are certified commissioning authorities (CxA) and work at the intersection of contractor trades, equipment manufacturers, design teams, and the operations and maintenance staff. Their expertise closes gaps, mitigating potential schedule delays and nonfunctional systems.

In many cases, controlled-environment systems are life- and mission-critical. At SMRT we do it all. We ensure functional electrical distribution systems, fire alarm and fire suppression, building envelopes, and complex HVAC systems throughout data centers, advanced manufacturing, laboratories, hospitals, cleanrooms, research facilities, and vivariums.

Our in-house commissioning agents are certified commissioning authorities (CxA) through the AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) and certified commissioning providers (CCP) through the Building Commissioning Association (BCA).

Our certified energy managers (CEM) assure equipment operates at its designed efficiency. We are Level II-certified Infrared Thermographers, useful for forensic diagnostics or troubleshooting building envelopes, mechanical, and electrical systems issues.
