Healthcare Design in a Post-COVID World

Where is healthcare design headed in a post-COVID world? Derek Veilleux, Director of SMRT’s Health and Wellness Practice, shared his thoughts with BD+C Magazine. Some of the highlights include maintaining the human touch aspect of healthcare, the need for speed in healthcare design through alternative delivery methods such as IPD and incorporating prefab and modular solutions, and an increased focus on controlling energy costs. “We are leveraging our strong relationships to push the envelope and explore new opportunities to the benefit of our clients.”
