Martin’s Point MOB Receives SEDCO Project of the Year
SMRTers always celebrate when our clients are recognized for their thoughtful approach to building projects. So we were excited and proud when the new patient centered medical home for Martin’s Point Healthcare received the Scarborough Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO) “2017 Project of the Year” award.
Karen Martin, executive director of SEDCO, summed up the Martin’s Point Healthcare medical office building selection this way: “The Board was unanimous in its selection of Martin’s Point as our project of the year because of many factors. You took a site that was struck by a devastating fire, and turned it into a beautiful facility. Martin’s Point approached the site with care and worked with Town staff on the facility. You met the needs of your growing practice, while also considering community needs. Your incorporation of community space, especially community space for seniors, went above and beyond any expectations the town could have had of a new business in town.”
