Doug Kumph

Doug serves as Director of Housing Practice, bringing extensive experience in operations, business and project management, team leadership, and the design, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. He began his career in the MEP/FP industry at Petersen Engineering, now an SMRT company, and went on to hold senior leadership roles in engineering and commissioning organizations before returning to Petersen to help lead the firm’s growth and development.

Doug earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and an MS in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University, where he received the Outstanding Student Award. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Passive House Consultant.
