Lance Lowell

Lance is a project manager and architect with significant experience having worked on numerous project types in the New York market and beyond including health and wellness, workplace, and science and technology. His primary focus is on correctional projects for county, state, and federal clients, including new construction and renovation projects. Before joining SMRT, Lance worked on multiple large-scale secure federal facilities abroad, including internal secure environments and incorporating Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) measures. The projects involved complex planning and client requirements and maintaining a standard of design excellence.

Lance has over ten years of experience in research project delivery, leading large, diverse teams on fast-paced projects. Lance currently serves as the firm-wide BIM manager and encourages using Building Information Technology (BIM) tools to develop interdisciplinary approaches to integrated architectural and engineering practices. His passion for BIM and design stems from a deep appreciation of the human connection to the built environment.
