Paul Stevens

An accomplished and respected architect with nearly 60 years in the business, Paul continues to be active in projects and business development at SMRT, and holds strong connections within the greater Portland community. SMRT holds a deep personal connection for him. In 1884—long before he began his architecture studies at the University of Pennsylvania—Paul’s great grandfather, John Calvin Stevens FAIA, founded the company.

Almost 140 years later, SMRT has grown into a multi-state firm, serving public and private clients throughout the Northeast. John Calvin Stevens would be delighted that SMRT provides architecture, engineering, planning, interiors, and energy services to institutional, corporate, and government clients. He would also be proud that his great-grandson helped carry on his legacy.
