Zeb Pease

EI
Structural Design Engineer

Zeb Pease works at the intersection of structural design and environmental performance. At SMRT, his work spans structural design, embodied carbon assessments, and life cycle assessments, supporting project teams in evaluating structural systems through the lenses of performance, constructability, cost, and carbon impact.

As one of SMRT’s SE 2050 Carbon Champions and a member of the firm’s Design Excellence Committee, Zeb contributes to the firm’s sustainability practice through research, internal education, and the development of practical tools and workflows. He approaches structural engineering as one part of a larger integrated system, with a particular interest in how early decisions shape a building’s performance over its entire life cycle.

Zeb holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University and is a licensed Engineer Intern in the State of Maine, currently working toward Professional Engineer licensure.
