Unity College Residence and Dining Halls

Unity College, known as “America’s Environmental College,” is committed to sustainability. Their mission is reflected through a contemporary-built campus environment, helped shaped by SMRT, through the design of three new residence halls and a dining hall.

To help Unity move away from fossil fuels, SMRT implemented a range of sustainable technologies, including photovoltaic arrays, a wood pellet boiler, and air-to-air heat exchangers. Additionally, sourcing materials with low-embodied energy enhanced sustainability goals.
