SMRT provided comprehensive design and workplace programming services to renovate 140,000 square feet of office for Raytheon Technology. The newly renovated space houses 650 employees who work on high-profile defense programs and process highly secure information. SMRT worked closely with the Raytheon team throughout the project to understand and implement security requirements. The design process was expedited to meet the need for quick workforce expansion.

The renovated office space features flexible, modular individual workspaces that are designed to facilitate future team expansion within an open collaborative environment. In addition, there is ample access to huddle and focus rooms for private discussions, heads-down concentration, and focused teamwork. The new design takes into account the unique needs of the space’s occupants, with security concerns at the forefront of the planning process. SMRT’s innovative design solutions have successfully transformed the office space into a secure, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
